Begin the day with a visit to a traditional reindeer farm and enjoy a sedate sedate reindeer sleigh ride through snowy forest.

Next stop, the festive spirit of Santa Claus Village, where the magic of Christmas lives all year round.

Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch before the pace picks up with an exhilarating husky safari.

Take a speedy ride through the snowy landscape drawn by a team of enthusiastic huskies. It’s a thrilling experience!

As night falls, head out into the wilderness for your first Northern Lights adventure. Away from city lights, you’ll search the skies for the magical Aurora, one of nature’s most breathtaking displays.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. However, this itinerary includes multiple opportunities to see them, including a dedicated Aurora excursion and your stay in a glass igloo.

What should I wear in Lapland?
Thermal base layers, insulated outerwear, gloves, hats, and snow boots are essential. Outdoor clothing and boots are supplied for the duration of the tour.

Start the day with a visit to Ranua Wildlife Park, the northernmost wildlife park in the world.

Set within peaceful forest surroundings, the Wildlife Park offers a chance to see Arctic animals up close in environments that reflect their natural habitats.

Enjoy a guided walk through this unique setting before sitting down to a warming full buffet lunch.

Return to Rovaniemi later in the afternoon and enjoy dinner at your hotel this evening.

After dinner, continue the adventure with a snowmobile safari and campfire to search for Northern Lights.

Pure Scandinavia is a family-run travel business specialising in curated journeys through Scandinavia and the Nordic region. With over 35 years of experience, the business is built on the expertise of founder Claudia Pallaspuro, who created and ran Snowbound Adventures and Lapland Magic in Finland. After relocating to Australia in 2010, Claudia brought her passion for Lapland with her and steadily developed Scandinavian travel experiences tailored for Australian travellers.
